Who I am as a Designer
I am a Service Designer with an MSc in Service Design Innovation and hands-on experience in service design, UX design, and community engagement. My background in journalism and marketing also helps me tell clear, compelling user stories and keep design work aligned with wider goals.
I love working closely with people, digging into real needs, and bringing clarity to complex systems through research and collaboration.
One thing I truly believe in is the power of design to make life better. I enjoy using my skills to support others, and as someone from a minority background, I understand how important diversity and inclusivity are in creating meaningful, equitable experiences.
In my free time, you will usually find me wandering around museums, tending to my growing collection of plants (I am a proud propagation enthusiast!), or spending time outdoors to recharge.

Hosting listening workshops with Citizens UK to understand the challenges faced by immigrant communities.

Receiving the "Personal Best Award" from Loughborough University.

Celebrating with volunteers after the success of a co-design project.

Proudly showcasing our award-winning work on improving rural healthcare access in India at an exhibition.

Delivering a pitch on stage to 200+ students from 19 universities as part of a startup programme.
What Matters to Me
I am passionate about equity, especially in public service, health and education, because I see these areas as essential to addressing injustice. I have worked and volunteered across those sectors, partnering with charities, local authorities and community organisations to create real and meaningful change.
I resonate with “designing with” people. I have witnessed the power of community again and again, and I am continually moved by the profound impact people can create when they come together. I learn from communities all the time: their lived experience, their resilience, their knowledge, and their collective strength. Often, they only need a bit of guidance or structure, and that is where designers play a supportive role, rather than a leading one.

Leading a design sprint with students from Chicago to reimagine a system for improving urban bicycle security.

Brainstorming with members from Design Council on how designers can better address climate change in their work.

Taking a course on LEGO® Serious Play and learning how to use LEGO as a tool for communication and facilitation.
Out of work…
Some people describe me as a bit “unstoppable” because I love staying busy and getting things done.
I especially enjoy organising events both online and in-person. As a Local Leader for IxDF, I help run events that bring designers together to learn, share, and connect. I also collaborate with a aromatherapy brand, design experience and host workshops that focus on mental wellness and creating immersive sensory experiences through aroma.
I am someone who likes to question things that don’t quite feel right (see it, say it, sorted!). One passion project I am particularly proud of is redesigning Waitrose's canned fish packaging , which I discovered later that Waitrose actually updated their design in a way that reflected my ideas!
I also love writing and never miss a chance to do so, thanks to my journalism background, I got invited to write articles in local newspaper!

Guiding hands-on sensory experiences that promote mental wellness.

Playing around with unsatisfying Waitrose canned fish packaginmg.

Sharing my projects and insights in a local newspaper.
